LICKING COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

WEEK OF 5/6/24

Jacksontown, Ohio (Friday, May 3, 2024) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Licking County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

State Route 37

Interstate 70 resurfacing/State Route 37 interchange repairs - This project includes resurfacing and related work on I-70 from SR 158 to SR 79, including concrete repairs on SR 37 interchange. Estimated completion is November 2024.

• New impacts: 

  • Beginning Monday, May 6, the I-70 eastbound off-ramp to SR 37 is scheduled to close for approximately 18 days for pavement replacement. Detours:

    • SR 37 north: I-70 to SR 158 to U.S. 40 to SR 37

    • SR 37 south: I-70 to SR 158 to SR 204 to SR37
